Citywide Cleanup a trashy success
One hundred volunteers, 50 bags of trash, visible signs of a cleanup campaign led by Keep Woodland Park Beautiful. A beautiful day in the city, June 21 shone a spotlight on community spirit and the effort of citizens to enhance the native beauty.
“Our mission is to beautify the city for our 23rd annual Keep Woodland Park Beautiful citywide cleanup,” said Leah Watters, co-chair of the nonprofit organization’s cleanup. “Everyone is so excited!”
Gilgenast is running for the WP School Board
Kassidi Gilgenast, a 10-year Woodland Park community resident, coach and volunteer, today announced her candidacy for the Woodland Park School District Board of Education. Gilgenast's campaign will focus on restoring fiscal responsibility, enhancing transparency, rebuilding community trust, and developing a comprehensive strategic vision for the district's future.
Woodland Park announces annual cleanup event
Keep Woodland Park Beautiful announced its 23rd annual city-wide cleanup event will take place on June 21. This year’s event is held in partnership with Apex Waste Solutions of Teller County.

Woodland Park girls volleyball team finishes season as regional champions
Regional champions, the Woodland Park Panthers girls volleyball team is going out as victors in their last year as a team.
“It’s the first time we’ve won regionals in 30 years,” said Coach Stacy Roshek. “It’s a pretty exciting year, that’s for sure.”
Keep Woodland Park Beautiful hosts annual Citywide Cleanup
For the past two decades, the people of Woodland Park have united in a project to clean up the town. Led by Keep Woodland Park Beautiful, the annual Citywide Cleanup is Saturday.
“This is such a great event and it’s wonderful to see the community come together to help pitch in to keep our city clean,” said Kassidi Gilgenast, vice president of KWPB, a nonprofit organization.
